A chinese liniment which costs less than $8 per bottle. Learned about it from my Dr. who retired :( he would apply it after an session of electro accupuncture, it was a great way to end the session.
Soak a cotton ball and rub the areas that are hurting -- the liniment soaks in to the muscles, you can literally feel it working. Works well before or with a massage.
The smell is not bad, a little spicy, but not stinky - almost herb like.
