I can't believe I'm the first reviewer! I realize that a raw food diet is kinda 'out there' to most people but it simply means eating as many uncooked foods as possible. Our remote ancestors did not cook their food and no other animal does. We were not meant to try to digest and gain full nutrients from foods that have been scorched, boiled and roasted beyond recognition. It destroys the enzymes and vitamins to such an extent that most foods are no more than 'placeholders' in your stomach. It doesn't have to be difficult; simply avoid processed foods and start adding in a lot of fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds. The internet is full of videos and recipe ideas. Watch the movie available on line called 'Cure for Diabetes in 30 Days' or something like that.
All it takes to realize something is very, very wrong with our diets and thinking in this country (US) is a good long look at ourselves. We're being poisoned by what is considered a normal diet and the pharmaceutical industry.
Since starting this diet, I have lost over 50 needed pounds in only 4 months, have tons more energy and need only 6 hours of sleep at night; some nights, maybe once a week, I sleep 8. I think my fibro was mostly from a normal US diet and I will never go back to it. Literally, I feel like I was being poisoned all this time.
