Acupuncture for Fibromyalgia

Acupuncture is a 5000 year old Chinese practice that involves the insertion of very fine needles into the skin for therapeutic purposes. Acupuncture may actually help fibromyalgia tender point pain or myofascial trigger point pain because this practice is used for pain relief and to promote one's well-being. However, acupuncture is also used for headaches, constipation, sinuses, colds, asthma, ulcers, and much more so it may help other fibromyalgia symptoms.

This has been a "lifesaver" for me!   03/04/08
Reviewed by:     Location Not Given
I went to see Dr. Saylor in Tarpon Springs, Florida because i had seen information a couple of times about him and his treatment for fibromyalgia. I have to say i am so glad I made the drive. I feel so much better, my energy, my focus, my pain, depression, sleep have all improved. He did acupuncture and one time in the beginning did a injection which was a miracle shot. This doctor knows his stuff and how to treat fibromyalgia. Plus his office staff was so kind and compassionate! Give him a call if you have done what I did tried everything else.... why did I not go there when I was first diagnosed is beyond me but, I am thankful I found hum now.

I love acupunture!   01/20/08
Reviewed by:     Dallas, Texas, USA
Acupuncture is one of those therapies where you do not always recognize the benefits until you try to stop using it or cant make it for a few weeks. I did that recently, and OMG! My symptoms returned raging like quick growing disease. I am now back on track and refuse to miss appointments. At one point, I thought I had gone into total remission, but I have to go twice weekly to feel that. My co-pay is $60. an appointment but its worth it! Better than fog inducing pain relievers!
