Malic Acid with Magnesium   04/10/08
Reviewed by:     Location Not Given
I began taking this supplement after I went to a natural foods store one day in desperation after a painful session with my chiropractor. I read up on fibromyalgia in their reading room and then looked at supplements. This one was on sale. It is Malic Acid with Magnesium by Solaray. It contains 1.2 g malic acid, 400 mg of magnesium (which also helps my asthma), 12 mg of thiamine, 18 mg of Vitamin B-6, 50 mg of Griffonia Beans (5-HTP), a proprietary herbal blend that includes valerian and hops, and 250 mg of St. John's Wort, which helped my depression/anger and my sleeping issues. I buy this stuff at a natural foods store; if your local natural foods store does not have it, they possibly can order it. It is $12 a bottle when the store I go to puts it on sale and $15 a bottle when it is full-price. It has 90 capsules. I take 2-3 capsules a day, with meals, so a bottle lasts around a month, maybe a little longer. It is worth the money; it is the most effective treatment I have found so far.
