very effective   02/20/13

I took this for one month while increasing the dose according to manufacturer's recommendation. When I was on the top daily recommended dose, I developed a severe measles type of rash. I was told this was an allergic rash and had to stop the drug.I have since been told the recommended dose has been lowered due to side effects at the higher dose. For myself, I was actually happy with the results at half the dose that gave me a rash. If my current treatment (replacement) fails to work, I am willing to go back and do the Milnacipran again at a lower dose because it was absolutely wonderful. I had no pain, could do what ever I wanted! I felt 'normal' again! I would recommend it to any one to give it a try.

Savella Helps Some   11/16/10
Reviewed by:  abbbby44    Location Not Given
Savella is an SNRI and is used in some countries to treat Major Depression Disorder. I expected it to begin helping with the depression right away, but it had almost no effect on the depression for the first few months. However, it has helped managed the pain a lot. Now it has given me more ups and downs mentally, which hopefully is a step in the right direction.
